- Had lawyer draw formal sales agreement to purchase land.
- Shopped for lenders and chose who we're going with- Equity Lending Zelienople, PA (compared SIX different lenders!!!)
- Heard back from Wayne that
- 1. We will be working with the Portage office from here on out due to the location of the land we're purchasing- Zelienople, PA
- 2. Our field manager will be James Bailey. Update- He quit, so they assigned us Brant Brothers- who also quit- ours was the last house he oversaw, but he did see us through to the end.
- 3. Our lot inspection will be June 19, 2014.
- 4. Our pre-construction meeting and pre-dig meetings will be on June 20, 2014 with Amy Halls and Marina Quinn.
- In the meantime, we're trying to get everything on our end done, but there's really not much. We're finding out which permits we need to apply for. We're driving around to check out and googling for colors of siding, shutters, countertops, cabinets, floors, etc. We want to have an idea of what we want when we go to our colors meeting- so many choices!!!
- Wish we could get the loan going but we have to wait until our June meetings to get the final loan amount- we won't know exact numbers until then...
- Hoping we'll dig in August or sooner! Say a prayer!
- Note to self- hopefully put townhouse on market in the next week or so... Then it will be living with family until we're in our new home.
